Google Voice offers web-based calls through Hangouts, no G+ profile needed

The rumor is the fact that eventually we're going to see Google Voice combined completely into Hangouts , and that's obtaining even closer to getting reality . You can now render phone calls via Hangouts from the Google Voice website , no Google+ needed . As Mountain View's Alex Wiesen information on G+ , the new feature is listed because an option in the "phone to call with" drop-down box . It appears a bit minor , sure , specifically when you consider that Hangouts has already been how you make telephone calls from within Gmail -- but any updates for the oft-neglected services are welcome , right ?
