Wii U's quick-boot update is finally here

If you are getting to play Mario Kart eight in the near future, you will have a wait prior you thanks to the most recent Wii U update. Ironically enough, though, this could speed up the method of taking part in games from here on out. The patch (version 5.0.0 U) most notably adds a fast begin menu to the GamePad that provides access to some of recently played or put in software package -- one thing the company showed off back in January. what is a lot of, as Kotaku spotted, you can currently transfer and install updates while the system is in standby, and Nintendo's gargantuan controller will even receive push notifications from the system once it's in its low-power state.exactly what those can entail is anyone's guess, though. If you'd like a preview of how the rapid-boot menu works before using it for yourself, we've embedded a clip once the break.
