Sony's life-tracking SmartBand

Let's come back to the exciting days of CES 2014, shall we? Sony embraced the wearable bandwagon (again) with the "tiniest gadget" it's ever created, and currently the Americans reading this could go out and nab one in all their own. Here's what you have to remember: it isn't simply an activity tracker. No, Sony fancies it as a "life huntsman," and for once that is not complete marketing equivocation. It works in cycle with an automaton app to color a portrait of what did you daily that extends on the far side mere movement -- the device and therefore the app track however you slept, wherever you went, what content you consumed, and once all of that happened. it is a neat enough twist on what otherwise could've been a dry formula, however there are (as always) some caveats to be aware of. Alas, the SmartBand only syncs with devices running android 4.4 KitKat, and anyone hoping to use this wrist-worn device as a timepiece are going to be painfully discomfited. will it heap up well against different players within the field? Did Sony stumble over a winning wearable formula? Our review unit simply landed, therefore keep tuned for a lot of elaborate impressions to come back.
