Micromax launches Unite 2

To contend with the price range wonder Moto E , Micromax has now released the all new Unite 2 smart phone priced in a similar way at Rs 6 ,999 . It is the first Micromax smart phone running Android KitKat and will be accessible across all leading retail outlets in India starting today . Another spotlight of the device is its support for 21 regional languages .

The Micromax Unite 2 sports a 4 .7-inch IPS display screen with 800×480 pixels of pixel resolution . Under the hood , it is operated by a 1 .3GHz quad-core processor chip , along with 1GB RAM . The chipset is not highlighted . On the camera front , one can expect 5-megaixel rear snapper with flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing digital camera . It also packs in camera features such as beauty mode , live photo function and panorama . The device is available dipped in four vivid colours – grey , white , red and green .

With 4GB onboard storage space , it can be extended further up to 32gb of storage space via microSD card . The connectivity alternatives include GPS , Bluetooth v4 .0 and Wi-Fi . All this is fuelled by a 2000 mAh battery pack . It runs on the latest 4 .4 .2 KitKat Operating system , and the company claims that it can be easily upgraded via FOTA , offering functions including voice search , Google Drive , Hangouts for video calls , smart contact prioritisation and more.

The Micromax smart phone also comes pre-loaded with applications like MAd , Getit , Kingsoft Office , Opera Mini , Hike , M !Games , M !live and a lot more .
